[Product Description]
Kumisukuchin is a non-caffeinated herbal tea made from 100% Kumisukuchin, a tropical plant native to Southern China, India, and Southeast Asia. Its leaves have long, protruding whiskers similar to a cat's whisker, which is why Kumisukuchin is named after the Malay word for "cat's whisker". Founded with the goal of producing safe, delicious tea, The Leaf Kiri has been cultivating Kumisukuchin in mountainous terrain (altitude 300m to 800m) without the use of pesticides or low-level pesticides. The tea is grown and produced in the mountains of Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan. Each packet contains 3g of Kumisukuchin.
[How to Use]
Kumisukuchin can be enjoyed hot or cold.
To prepare hot Kumisukuchin, place one packet of the tea into 400-1000ml of boiling water and steep for 5 minutes or longer. For a stronger flavor, leave the packet in the water.
To make cold Kumisukuchin, steep the tea as usual, then strain the tea into a pet bottle or water pot, and store in the refrigerator.
To make Kumisukuchin in a teapot, place one packet of the tea in the pot, add the desired amount of water, and steep. For a stronger flavor, steep slowly; for a weaker flavor, quickly pour the hot water into the teacup.
