Moist pad made of hydrocolloid material absorbs and retains body fluids and swells up white to maintain an optimal moist environment for healing wounds. It does not form a scab and promotes the rapid and clean regeneration of new skin.
--Concentrates care only on the wound.
Hydrocolloid is used only in the padded area. It does not stress the healthy skin outside of the wound, keeps the wound moist, reduces pain, and comfortably protects the wound.
--Water-resistant hypoallergenic adhesive.
Uses a proprietary hypoallergenic adhesive. Gentle on the skin and hard to peel off.
--Gently conforms to joint movements.
The high-density urethane nonwoven fabric stretches in all directions and delicately conforms to joints even when they are bent. It also has excellent air permeability, so it does not blister easily and does not put stress on healthy skin other than the wound.
The urethane film on the patches is waterproof.
Absorbs and retains body fluids from the wound.
The fluid that comes out of the wound (leachate) contains ingredients that help heal the wound.
